Join us for a Promise Town Hall Meeting Monday, March 25th. Also, the Children’s Library and Learning Center is opening this month in the Promise Neighborhood! The Home Visiting Programs in the Promise Neighborhood have spaces open for enrollment. Please read further for information on the great opportunities available through the Arkansas Home Visiting program.
The CLRPN is recruiting applicants for the new Neighborhood Outreach Coordinator position. Review of resumes will begin on February 22, so apply now. The CLRPN would like to thank Second Presbyterian Church for their very generous gift of $30,000 to be used as seed funding for the new Neighborhood Outreach position.
There will be a Community Reading Summit on December 13th. The goal of the summit is to share information about current efforts and identify ways to collaborate and move forward together. Also, the Promise Ambassadors have organized a can goods drive for those in need this holiday season. Please read for details and information on giving to those in our community who might go hungry this December.
Join the Promise Ambassadors as they host their first clean up this Saturday, October 13th. The Ambassadors will be picking up litter at FLETCHER PARK (901 South Woodrow) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Additionally, on October 16th the “Afterschool is Key” EXPANDED LEARNING SUMMIT will be held at the Bishop Leodis & Goldie Warren Family Life Center (1200 Bishop Warren Drive) from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The summit will focus on expanding learning beyond the normal school structure and forging stronger community and school partnerships.
